Waxhaw Development is a retail land development asset located in Waxhaw, NC, a rapidly growing suburb of Charlotte, NC. Carolina Capital (CC) purchased the property in December of 2021.

CC’s investment objective was to acquire a well-located property in a high barrier to entry market. This site benefits from strong traffic counts, strong retail momentum in the immediate area, and superior positioning compared to other developable sites within this submarket.

CC plans to hold the asset as part of its retail land development portfolio and plans to develop single-tenant or small strip retail uses or both.
