Waxhaw Development is a retail land development asset located in Waxhaw, NC, a rapidly growing suburb of Charlotte, NC. Carolina Capital (CC) purchased the property in December of 2021 and exited in June 2025.

CC’s investment objective was to acquire a well-located property in a high barrier to entry market. This site benefited from strong traffic counts, strong retail momentum in the immediate area, and superior positioning compared to other developable sites within this submarket.
